one thing i love about where we live is the drastic difference in seasons. they are all so beautiful and offer a variety of opportunities for fun. i love the way the change in air, smell, color and climate help to enrich traditions. we recently picked up an enchanted lions book called seasons,written and illustrated by blexbolex. it celebrates all four seasons in a very simple, meditative style. each page contains a print and a word representing an aspect of a season. the one word pages create and nice rhythm, which makes it very soothing to read before naps.
