the meal we made on this day was a chestnut lentil soup, from the deborah madison soup book, and sweet potato tempeh bacon stuffing.
susan made a delicious squash, chestnut, and white bean casserole- i am not sure where that recipe came from. tonight, we went over to anna's house for dinner, and we brought a bag of chestnuts- adam roasted them on the grill.
Hi Erika--just found your blog, love reading all about your family. What a sweet girl you have! I hope I might meet her someday in the not too distant future...all the best to you all.
hi barbara- how nice to hear from you! we would love to visit you and your family sometime. it seems you have a wonderful place there, and we are looking forward to meeting your new little guy! we still have a school pic of alex on our refrigerator. i am sure he looks even more grown up now.
I'm so curious, what did you make with the chestnuts? (it's Lisa here)
